It is never too early for a Jewish child to learn the importance of doing a mitzvah. The Stein Yeshiva early childhood kinderlach held a “Little Tykes Car Wash” to raise funds for United Hatzolah in Israel. Helped by volunteers from the elementary school, the children drove their cars through the “car wash” and followed up with “detailing.” In a tremendous show of achdus, children from the toddler daycare through eighth grade worked together on the project. The early childhood kinderlach learned that it is a huge mitzvah to help each other and understood that our people in Eretz Yisroel need our help right now. The older students, more aware of what is happening in Israel, asked probing questions so that they could understand the work that United Hatzolah does. Yasher koach to everyone who participated.
