Modern Bread & Bagel, a gluten-free and kosher café based in New York City, is set to open its first New Jersey location in Englewood after Passover.
Known for its artisan bagels and all-day brunch, the café will offer a menu similar to its New York and Los Angeles locations, featuring bagel sandwiches, brunch items and pastries. The Englewood location will operate under RCBC kosher supervision but will not be Cholov Yisroel. It will have separate dairy and pareve kitchens, with all dairy items clearly marked.
The café will open at 45-E Palisade Ave. with initial hours of 8 a.m.-4 p.m., and closed Saturdays and Mondays. Monday service will be added later.
