Building on the success of its Monsey and Teaneck locations, the Lakewood Swim School will offer swimming lessons and lifeguard training under the guidance of owner Eli Fonfeder, WSI IT, LGI, a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the swim industry. The Lakewood Swim School will be overseen by program director Rabbi Dov Schechter, an experienced lifeguard and swim instructor.

With a proven track record of success, Monsey Swim School distinguishes itself by relying on time-tested techniques backed by years of experience, rather than gimmicks or fear-based tactics. The school’s commitment to excellence is reflected in its impressive legacy, having proudly trained thousands of students across multiple locations.

Our highly-trained instructors, some boasting decades of expertise, are the backbone of our program. Their deep knowledge and commitment to excellence have helped thousands of students master the water, transforming from beginners to confident swimmers.

The Teaneck Swim Academy is now in its fourth successful year. Instructors there have successfully taught swim lessons, lifeguard training and CPR. We have amazing, separate boys and girls swim teams for seasoned swimmers who want a challenge. Teaneck Swim Academy also has a unique, women’s only swim program for lap swimming.

The Lakewood Swim School will benefit from the same level of experienced instruction. With the summer months upon us, there is an increased demand for lifeguard training and interested students can now benefit from training within their hashkafic values, with our separate mens and womens training programs.
