Congratulations to the Moriah boys Torah Bowl team on winning the Torah Bowl championships for the second year in a row! The 2023 meet was held over Zoom on April 19 and included top teams from RYNJ, Kushner, Flatbush, YCQ and HANC. Participants studied the entire Sefer Bereishit with Rashi’s commentary. Moriah was led by Rabbi Dani Yaros, and eighth grade captains Jonah Knoll and Dovid Ratzersdorfer. In a tight match, Moriah pulled through for the win with 21 points, to Kushner’s 19 points and RYNJ’s 18 points. Thanks to Rabbi Mair Wolofsky, director of the league, for his continued leadership in making Torah Bowl a success every year. Congratulations to the Moriah champs on back to back wins!
