This past Wednesday evening, the seventh grade boys and their families joined together to celebrate their collective milestone of reaching their bar mitzvah with a beautiful dinner and celebration. The evening included divrei Torah from Rabbi Alter and seventh grade students, recitation of Tehillim led by students, and a siyum on Pirkei Avot which the boys had studied with Rabbi Eisenberger. Rabbi Delouya announced that in honor of their collective bar mitzvah, the students raised money for the Israel Relief Fund, an organization that provides assistance to displaced families in Israel. Everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner, and the boys, their fathers and rebbeim joined in spirited dancing with music provided by amazing Moriah alum, DJ Nay, Jonah Nayowitz! Even some of the moms got caught up in their own dancing circle to celebrate this special occasion. Mazel tov and yashar koach to everyone on this exciting milestone!
