Moriah eighth grade Robotics Club students participated in the third annual MakerXpo at the CIJE Innovation Day at the New York Hilton this past Sunday, May 6. Students worked with their science teacher. Sandra Knoll to develop useful designs. Moriah presented four innovative original booths. They showcased a computer game, the technology for smart light-up glasses, a solar powered phone charger and a 3D printed prototype for a rolling alarm clock. Moriah students proudly stood by their projects and explained to visitors the how their ideas came to fruition, the technology they used and the reason their designs were useful. Moriah students loved working on these creative projects for this engineering fair!
