Moriah Eighth Graders Enjoy a Purim Seudah With Their Rebbe

What’s a Purim seudah like with someone’s rebbe in Monsey, New York? Ask the eighth grade boys who were lucky enough to be invited to Rabbi Eisenberger’s annual eighth grade Purim seudah, and there will undoubtedly be a lot of enthusiastic replies. There was a lot of ruach and great food. The seudah at Rabbi Eisenberger’s home began with a dvar Torah and candlelighting and continued with fried schnitzel, potato kugel, sour pickles, egg rolls, deli roll and, of course, a huge hamantaschen challah. There was also lots of dancing. Following a second dvar Torah, the boys again danced through the dining room. Dessert was served and one more dance topped off the afternoon before a heartfelt birkat hamazon. A special thank you to Mrs. E for preparing all of the delicious food and to Rabbi E’s son, Eli, for his artistry on the keys.
