Moriah nursery students had loads of fun together with the entire early childhood department in a joyful gathering celebrating Thanksgiving. Dressed in Native American garb complete with feathered and patterned head dresses, colorful, fringed shirts and beaded necklaces, they sang and danced and feasted on popcorn, corn bread, pumpkin cookies, apple sauce and sprinkle cookies. Morah Divsha read a funny book about a Lower East Side turkey and Morah Keli led the children in delightful songs. It was the happiest way to welcome in Thanksgiving at Moriah.
