The Moriah School’s fifth grade “kicked” off Super Bowl weekend with an assortment of fun Super Bowl activities. Students participated in exercises across various subject disciplines: Super Bowl math, Super Bowl geography, ticket designing and Super Bowl science. They were able to locate all 32 NFL teams on a map, design a Super Bowl ticket, calculate how much it costs to attend the Super Bowl, and understand the science behind football by watching videos on vortices and projectile motion. Many NFL teams were represented by students wearing jerseys of various teams. It was a fun-filled, educational morning and the students were ready for the big game. Go team!
