Moriah Fifth Grade Hosts Oceanography Night

This past week, The Moriah School fifth grade concluded their oceanography unit with Oceanography Night. The evening began with a greeting and two songs that were performed by the fifth grade students. Following the musical presentation, the fifth graders led the parents and guests on tours of their areas of study. Guests were given brochures made by the students, highlighting important facts about the topics they studied, and were invited to view the projects and in-depth research reports the students had prepared.

To remember the evening, a photo booth, complete with underwater props, was available for students and their family and friends to take entertaining pictures. Hanging throughout The Moriah School’s Kukin auditorium was intricate underwater-themed artwork prepared by the fifth grade for the evening. It was a magical evening under the sea.
