Moriah Holds First Educator’s Experience

Before Pesach, the Moriah Lower School hosted its first Educator’s Experience, where educators from across the Tri-State area who were interested in learning about the school’s Personalized Learning Model came for a visit. They wanted to see, in action, how Moriah meets the needs of every learner, how its teachers use data to drive their instruction and how its students take pride in seeing and measuring their own individual growth and progress. They also highlighted three fifth grade boys, Ezra Berger, Harry Goldberg and Max Levy, who shared their story about getting Moriah’s first ever 3D printer up and running under the guidance of Sharon Sherman, the STEM teacher. The school shared this wonderful experience with The AviChai Foundation, who had a professional film crew documenting Moriah’s journey through the BOLD grant and beyond.
