In the spirit of Sephardic culture month, the students were privileged to hear a fascinating first-hand account from Marc Setton, a prominent member and founder of the Englewood Sephardic community. He talked about his experience of life in Egypt and being forced to flee before resettling in Brooklyn. The students were riveted by his story as well as the photos and video clips he presented. It was an excellent opportunity for the students to get a close-up view of life in Sephardic lands.
