The Moriah School kindergarten children have been counting the days of school since the very first day. Using 10 frames, a number chart and straws (bundling every group of ten) they have counted their way to 100—and were so excited to reach this monumental day on Friday! The children know it is a very big number and you can count to 100 in a variety of ways. In honor of this milestone, the children created “Day 100” necklaces (with 100 Fruit Loops), hats (decorated with 100 stickers) and each child enjoyed 100 items for snack. Collectively, the children created a number line from 1-100 and designed a colorful Day 100 mural, filled with 100 pictures. As a special treat, all the kindergarteners gathered for a 1-100 Hershey Kiss hunt! On to day 101!
