The kindergarten children were excited to participate in a special buddy program with the fifth graders. Once a month, the buddies enjoy an activity together that is related to the current holiday/season. Each kindergartener is paired with the same buddy each time, allowing for a comfortable and friendly relationship to develop. This past Thursday, the kindergarten children were excited to join their buddies for a Thanksgiving-themed program. They wrote what they are thankful for and added the feathers to Thankful Mr. Turkey. Then, beaded bracelets were created and exchanged. What a great time everyone had together. It was hard to know which group enjoyed it more!
