The Moriah kindergarteners were so excited to return back from Pesach break and have a chance to visit “their tree.” In the fall, the children selected a small red-fruited dogwood tree, growing in the field across the driveway in front of the main entrance of Moriah. The children have been observing the tree through the seasons, making anecdotal notes and sketches each time they visit. They were excited to note the differences from their last visit in the winter, and were delighted to see that green buds had formed on the branches, making the tree look “alive” once again. They look forward to their next visit, later in the spring, to watch for further developments!
