It has been a week of celebration and outstanding performances, as the kitah alef students sang, danced and narrated impressive plays for faculty, family and special guests. For weeks the excitement has been building. The melodious voices of the adorable first graders have been floating through the hallways as they prepared for the highlight of the year: the Chagigat HaSiddurim! The students entered school with excitement and pride this week, eager to finally perform in front of their families. They did an absolutely outstanding job! Following the performances, the students beamed as they received their very first siddur, presented by Rabbi Alter. They couldn’t wait to daven with their new siddurim. May they continue to have that same excitement each and every time they open up their siddurim. Mazal tov to the first graders for receiving their very first Siddur and yasher koach on such a beautiful accomplishment and a job well done!
