Moriah Kitah Daled Learns Lessons From Tanach

Over the last two months Moriah Kitah Daled students have been involved in many exciting learning experiences. They began Parshat Vayeshev which begins with the story of Yosef and his beautiful kitonet pasim. As they learned that Yosef was a ben zekunim to Yaakov and how adored and favored he was by his father, the class engaged in many fascinating conversations about family dynamics and values. The students’ insights and sharing of their own experiences added a tremendous connection from the life in the Torah to their own life experiences today.

As they have begun learning Sefer Yehoshua, they embark on the journey of finally entering into Eretz Yisrael. The children felt a particular sense of excitement about seeing the fulfillment of Hashem’s promise to the Avot. As Yehoshua leads Bnei Yisrael, the students are learning about leadership through Yehoshua’s decisions and actions. As the students look upon Yehoshua as a role model they notice that Yehoshua is always looking to Hashem and consistently conducts himself in the way of an eved Hashem!
