On Wednesday, November 8, Moriah kicked off the first lower school Sephardic Tefillah of the 2023-2024 school year. Over 20 children convened in the Sephardic Beit Midrash for their morning tefillah in nusach Edut Hamizrach. The tefillah is led by Shlomo Tsadok, father of Moriah Alumni Daniel (92), Ronit (95) and Yosef (02). Lower school sephardic tefillah is an initiative being led by the Sephardic Culture Committee to provide a weekly opportunity for Sephardic students in grades two through five to pray in their own nusach.
