The 100th day finally arrived in Moriah’s kindergarten! The children did so many activities to mark the 100th day. They each decorated a hat with 100 objects! They strung 100 fruit loops for a “100 day” necklace. They used their 10 frames to help count and keep track of how many fruit loops they put on their strings. Students wrote and illustrated their own individual “100 Day Book.” Each child paired up and counted all the 100 items that were brought in by each child from home. Some of them grouped them by ones, fives and tens. They now know that 10 sets of 10 make 100, 20 sets of five make 100, 25 sets of four make 100 and 50 sets of two make 100!
Happy 100th day of school!
