Moriah’s second grade is bringing their math skills to the next level. They are learning to connect their math units to their everyday lives. Soon they will not have to ask, “What time is it?” and they are learning how much money they would need to buy their own snacks. They are exploring their classrooms through measurement in a whole new way, as they determine which is the best tool to use to measure each object. Brainstorming with a buddy and figuring out tough calculations on mini whiteboards helps them be even more magnificent mathematicians!
