Moriah’s weekly advisory program is underway! The advisory program is a social-emotional curriculum for sixth and seventh grade students that meets once a week. Over the course of the year, they will discuss a variety of topics such as communication, friendship, special needs, bullying and digital citizenship.

This week in sixth-grade advisory, the students began with a discussion of the word gratitude. The students had a complex discussion about the importance of gratitude and how it affects their lives. They then wrote lists of the simple things in their lives that they are grateful for.
