When the middle schoolers at Moriah heard about Sophie, a cousin of one of their own who is not well, they knew that something had to be done. Collecting money from their classmates and faculty members, they were able to raise over $300 for presents so that Sophie could have an unforgettable Chanukah. It is student-led initiatives like this that make the staff so proud of the Moriah student body. They have learned to make chesed and kindness a part of their character. Kol Hakavod.
