The children of Gan Rimonim have been focusing on doing mitzvot and being kind. The children have been bringing in mitzvah notes since the beginning of the school year. The teachers can’t believe how many leaves have grown on the tree! The children also understand that during the season called autumn, the leaves fall off the trees. To make this concept more concrete, they took all of the mitzvah note “leaves” off of the tree as they prepared for winter. The tree is now bare, just like the trees outdoors. But don’t think that they will stop doing mitzvot and being kind…during the winter months, the tree will have mitzvah-note snowflakes to cover its branches. They can’t wait to watch the snowflakes pile up on the tree as they continue to engage in mitzvot and be kind!
