Moriah’s pre-k students had a berry fun time celebrating the holiday of Tu B’Shevat! They started the week by making patterns out of toy fruits to learn all of the fruit names in Hebrew. Once the children knew all the Hebrew names of the fruit well, the children then acted as detectives by feeling and smelling different real fruits while blindfolded. Most of their guesses were spot on! They then cut each fruit open, looked at their pits and seeds and got a little taste of each! What a fun multi-sensory experience!
