The weather was finally ready to start planting the early childhood garden. Moriah was very lucky to have Rachel Haber volunteer her time and expertise to start the process. The children enjoyed mixing the soil (vermicompost, peat moss and sand), filling trays, picking and planting seeds and finally labeling the trays. Each class was given their own special journals to keep track of their plant growth. The students can’t wait to see and taste their plantings!
