Moriah’s Pre-K Does a Taste Test

This week the Moriah pre-k did a taste test. The children tasted a tapuach adom (red apples) and a tapuach yarok (green apples). They learned the Hebrew words chamutz (sour) and matok (sweet). The children described how each apple tasted (in Hebrew of course). We also practiced a matching game with the simanim of the holiday. When a child got a match they announced “zeh tov” (that’s good) and when they didn’t get a match they announced “zeh lo tov” (that’s not good). The children had fun playing these games over and over to help prepare for the chagim.
