On Wednesday, May 29, Moriah held its 22nd annual sixth grade Heritage Fair. The Heritage Fair is the culminating celebration at the end of a year-long unit that honors family mesorah. It is a unique educational experience in which the students document and preserve cherished artifacts and heirlooms that are part of their personal family history. Proud parents and grandparents attended the event where the students showcased their projects and presented the artifacts along with their stories. Through this experience, the students were able to share the memory and traditions of their families in a meaningful and long-lasting way.
