Moriah students wasted no time in beginning chesed projects for the new school year.
Moriah students helped Congregation Ahavath Torah organize the seating labels for each of their minyanim and organized the letters sent to each home regarding seats and minyan information.
Eighth grade girls created a progress chart for the Moriah hurricane relief fund. The goal is to have a hundred percent student participation, with each student giving something to our brothers and sisters affected by the hurricane who need our support.
Students William Gollender and Sam Rosen organized a lemonade stand to do their part to raise money—and raised $267! They will bring it into their class to give to their teachers to be part of the Moriah hurricane relief fund. Their parents and Moriah are so proud of them!
