Do you want to build a snowman? The children in Moriah’s pre-k do! In conjunction with their winter unit, the children have been creating all kinds of snowmen, including a giant-sized class snowman. They all participated by gluing pieces of cotton batting on three balls to create a “snowy” body. Then using a variety of materials from the classroom, they made the face, arms and clothing to complete their snowman.They even learned the Hebrew words for the different circle sizes and the snowman’s various clothing, adding to their vast Hebrew vocabulary.The children can’t wait to see their snowman come to life when it is displayed for all to admire!
