(Courtesy of Moriah) The Moriah School is excited to announce that Rabbi David Delouya, who has been teaching Gemara in middle school, will be assuming the role of assistant principal and mashgiach, middle school Jewish studies for the 2023-2024 school year.
In the three years that Rabbi Delouya has been with us at Moriah, he has already established himself as a master teacher, whose warmth and care is felt by every child. He is a highly regarded educator in the wider Jewish community as well, with many years of experience teaching in both middle and high school. He also runs the Englewood Torah Center which has brought a new level of energy and Torah study to our community. Rabbi Delouya looks forward to continuing to strengthen our limudei kodesh curriculum and support faculty growth. In his short time in our community he has already created an environment of love of Torah and Judaism and will look to build on this energy and continue to inspire our students.
Rabbi Delouya’s new role will support our exceptional middle school administrative team, headed by middle school associate principal, Tzipporah Boim, and talented student activities director and middle school faculty member, Rabbi Levinson, as well as middle school Guidance Counselor Yardena Brickman, middle school Coordinator Barbara Rotenberg and all of our beloved and talented faculty members.
We look forward to another great year of learning, growth and innovative middle school programming and education in the 2023/24 school year.
