Moshava Ba’ir MetroWest has had an incredible sixth week of camp, and with only two more weeks of camp they are not wasting a moment! This week’s theme was chesed, which was kicked off by helping the Jewish Relief Agency put together their packages on Monday. The campers got to learn about what they typically put inside their packages and how they make them, and thank them for everything that they do! On Tuesday, eidot hey and super hey left for Moshava IO! This is always the trip that the older eidot are most excited about, and it was a hit! The campers got to do sports peulot, melechet yad, beteavon and so many other amazing things at Moshava IO! On Thursday MBMW got a visit from Dr. Schnitzel’s Wacky Science. The campers learned so much from him while laughing and his awesome demonstrations! The week ended with another incredible oneg Shabbat full of singing, snacking and ruach!

This week we also ventured into the deep waters of the Neviim Acharonim, who said prophecy about the destruction of the Beit Hamikdash and its eventual rebuilding. From Yishayahu, who led the charge for Bnei Yisrael’s moral and ethical improvement, to Yirmiyahu who foresaw their destruction and eventual recovering and rebuilding, and Yechazkel who saw his vision of the dry bones coming back to life. May the learning and yearning for the Beit Hamikdash bring the Mashiach bimheira b’yameinu!
