Sports week was an incredible week at Moshava Ba’ir MetroWest! Each day was sports themed with various games and competitions and every camper, from the athletes to the fans who were full of ruach, got to shine! Monday started off the week with jersey day and every camper wore their favorite team’s jersey. Tuesday was packed with sports leagues, where the campers played basketball, soccer, dodgeball and so many more exciting games. Thursday was a camp-wide gaga tournament, which brought the entire MBMW together as they cheered for and competed against their friends. The week wrapped up with an oneg Shabbat, carrying the ruach from the week into an awesome tish with snacks and singing.

Campers are moving along into their second month of camp with a journey through Tanach! This week they learned about the Trei Asar, and some of the important personalities amongst the latter nevi’im. In particular, they focused on Yonah and his lessons of teshuva for the Jewish people, even when we may be scared and vulnerable. They then learned about Chavakuk and what he taught about the main point of doing mitzvot and how to best serve Hashem.
