This past week at Moshava Ba’ir Metrowest was a fun but relaxed one, as campers transitioned into the Nine days, leading up to Tisha B’Av. The chanichim enjoyed an entertaining visit from Rizzo’s Wildlife, where they got to see and hold exotic animals from all over the world. They came face to face with a real live alligator, and learned all about the differences they have with crocodiles. At the end of the visit, their eyes widened with awe when they saw their counselors holding a giant 13 foot snake!

Although this week was a bit rainy, that didn’t stop the chanichim from having fun! They still had a blast dancing around in Rikkud and learning the new game of Mahjong. They even got creative, making up various bunkroom games to play while they stayed dry and inside. Everyone also had delicious projects this week in Bishul and Afiya, where the chanichim baked steamy and delicious pizza and then got to eat the sweet chocolate bark they made for dessert. The week ended with crazy hat day, where all the chanichim and staff came in with their goofiest getups.
