Yom Aliyah is one of the most special gatherings of the entire summer at Moshava Ba’ir. It is a time where we recognize and honor the members of the Moshava Ba’ir family who are either making aliyah, returning to Israel after their shlichut, joining the army or doing Sherut Leumi. The guests of honor received small gifts and found the location of their new home on a giant map of Israel. Rav Shaul Feldman, executive director of Bnei Akiva of the U.S. and Canada, flew all the way from Israel to share words of chizuk and welcome the olim home. The program continued with a very moving and beautiful “Mi Sheberach:” sung by the Maccabeats! The ceremony concluded with an incredible daglanut led by Assistant Director Robyn Adams, Mifkad led by Rosh Mosh Leora Orenshein, and “Hatikva,” sung by Music Director Nathaniel Ribner. Tzetchem l’shalom to all of our olim! Looking forward to seeing you in Eretz Yisrael.
