Meir Metal Wittenberg Spotlight

Meir was moved up to the 220 weight class last minute, and was on the low end of that weight group. He had bad back pain for weeks leading up to Wittenberg, and wasn’t sure he would be up to competing. He went to a chiropractor and that didn’t help. Meir is Lubavitch, and he tried to get to the Ohel during Wittenberg, but was unable to. His parents went and davened for him, and he had zero back pain on Sunday. After just losing the first round to a boy from Ida Crown, Meir won against Helfgott from Frisch to take second place.
