Yeshiva University High School for Boys (MTA) hosted its first blood drive of the school year this past week. Coordinated by the Arista National Honor Society, the blood drive was held throughout the entire day in the MTA library. Dozens of students showed up to do a simple good deed that literally saves lives.
Additionally, many faculty members and YU students showed up to participate in this extraordinary chesed program as well. Everyone who donated was treated to Dunkin Donuts and other snacks after completing his donation. By the end of the day, a total of 48 pints of blood was collected- an incredible accomplishment.
