When Mishmar couldn’t take place in yeshiva due to tropical storm Ida, MTA brought the learning program to local communities. MTA rebbeim led mishmar programs in Bergen County, Brooklyn, Monsey, Passaic, Queens, Riverdale, Westchester and West Hempstead. “Even though we were unable to learn in yeshiva, we wanted to end the year with Torah by learning together before Rosh Hashana and wish each talmid a K’siva V’chasima Tova in person,” shared Associate Principal Rabbi Shimon Schenker. “We are grateful to our amazing rebbeim and incredible talmidim for taking part in this meaningful opportunity.”
