College acceptance letters are starting to come in and MTA is celebrating some exciting news! Twelve seniors were accepted early decision to the Jay and Jeanie Schottenstein Honors Program at Yeshiva University, with a total of $1.2 million in scholarships! Mazal Tov to Yonatan Burns (Bergenfield), Yehuda Emerson (Bergenfield), Yitzchak Hagler (Bergenfield), Yonah Josse (Manhattan), Shmuel Rosenthal (Manhattan), Binyamin Rubin (Teaneck), Noam Schechter (Spring Valley), Eli Staum (Teaneck), Yehuda Teitelman (Teaneck), Dovid Uretsky (Teaneck), Raffi Weil (Teaneck) and Yaakov Weinstock (Hollywood) on this incredible achievement! In addition, six other seniors were awarded a total of $172,000 in scholarships to Yeshiva University, including Ezra Schechter (Bergenfield) and Aaron Rouhani (Great Neck), who received dean’s scholarships and Shmuel Betsalel (Bergenfield) and Yosef Jakubowitz (Woodmere), who received merit scholarships. Additional college acceptances include Columbia University and NYU (with scholarship). “We are so proud of the entire enior grade for their consistent hard work and dedication over the past four years,” shared Head of School Rabbi Joshua Kahn. “These accomplishments are a testament to their passion for both Talmud Torah and academics. We can’t wait to watch as they continue to grow as bnei Torah and scholars during the next phase of their journey.”
