MTA freshman families had a great time getting to know each other at the yeshiva’s virtual Freshman Family Breakfast on Sunday, November 22. The MTA community includes families from across the tri-state area and the U.S. and this event is the perfect way for both parents and talmidim to get to know each other over ice-breaker activities and a competitive game of panoply. It is one of many events hosted by MTA throughout the year for families to spend time with each other as well as with their sons and rebbeim and is part of the enhanced Freshman Family Experience. MTA coordinates a variety of initiatives enabling freshman families to feel a sense of belonging from the moment they join the MTA community, including the Cub2Lion Parent Peer Program, which pairs current families with incoming freshman families and transfer families to help them feel comfortable right from the start.
