MTA welcomed its talmidim back from winter break with an epic rebbe-talmid basketball game! Held on the NCAA full regulation sized basketball court at Yeshiva University’s Max Stern Athletic Center, the exciting yeshiva-wide event also included individual and grade competitions and incredible prizes, providing everyone with an opportunity to participate. The teams of rebbeim and talmidim worked hard on the court, while the rest of the yeshiva cheered them on from the stands. The LionsLive team live streamed the game and interviewed players from both teams. While the rebbeim took home the win with a final score of 53-43, the talmidim played a great game! “This event was the perfect way to bring our entire yeshiva together post-winter break,” shared Dean of Student Life Rabbi Danny Konigsberg. “You could truly feel the achdus reverberating throughout the MAX as our teams worked hard together on the court, while rebbeim, faculty, and talmidim sent encouragement from the sidelines. The middos and sportsmanship displayed by both our rebbeim and talmidim on and off the court are a true testament to the strong values of our yeshiva.”
