On Tuesday, November 12, MTA’s Arista Honors Society hosted a school-wide blood drive. Spearheaded by seniors Eli Fisher and Ezra Nissel, the all-day blood drive yielded great results. MTA talmidim, rebbeim and faculty as well as local community members, aided patients in need of blood and donated 67 life-saving pints. With 201 lives positively affected, this first blood drive of the year was a complete success for all involved. Thank you to the Arista Honors Society for organizing this meaningful initiative. MTA is also grateful to the New York Blood Center for their continuous efforts to save lives.
