In an effort to to help talmidim enhance their limud Torah experience, MTA launched a new series of learning programs this year. In addition to regular mishmar and night seder, offered on a weekly basis, students across all grades have the opportunity to participate in a variety of learning initiatives throughout the year. New programs include:

Mishmar Madness—a bimonthly event following regular Mishmar, which includes a kumzitz, chaburahs with college talmidim and shiurim from renowned speakers.

Senior Schmooze—a discussion for seniors with Head of School Rabbi Joshua Kahn on a topic related to religious development, taking place every Thursday morning.

Rise Like A Lion—a pilot program spearheaded by Assistant Principal Rabbi Shimon Schenker and sophomore grade dean Rabbi Elon Soniker, which engages talmidim in considering and planning for religious development.

Halacha Chaburah with Rav Zvi Sobolofsky—an intensive Halacha chaburah led by Yeshiva University Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Zvi Sobolofsky, taking place every Sunday morning.

College Chavrutahs—an opportunity for freshmen to learn in chavrutahs with Yeshiva University students every Wednesday morning.

Mishna Yomi—a six-minute daily shiur, where talmidim learn two mishnayot per day with Rabbi Schenker and hundreds of other talmidim from around the country.

Master the Masechta—an option for talmidim to learn one daf of masechet Sukkah per week and finish most of the masechta with Rabbi Schenker every Wednesday.
