Six MTA students have nabbed spots atop the National Merit Scholarship Corporation’s rankings by scoring exceptionally well on the PSAT/NMSQT. Students Ori Putterman, Elliot Fuchs, Yitzchak Lindenbaum, Daniel Jaroslawicz, Aryeh Klein and Asher Guigui are among the 16,000 finalists of the 1.5 million students who took the rigorous exam, and who helped catapult MTA toward the front of the pack. MTA has consistently done well on the PSAT – five MTA students snagged the designation last year – and this year’s improvement means that MTA now boasts the greatest number of male semifinalists of all Yeshiva High Schools nationwide.
