MTA Associate Principal Rabbi Shimon Schenker and Director of Israel Guidance Rabbi Avraham Shulman enjoyed catching up with MTA alumni who are learning in Israel this year over winter break. In addition to hosting an alumni melave malka, they also visited various yeshivot and were thrilled to see how much their talmidim have grown in their limud Torah and ruchniyut in just a few short months. Rabbi Tani Cohen also visited with his Julius Wrubel Beis Medrash Katan talmidim, who are learning in Israel this year and putting the skills Rabbi Cohen taught them last year to good use. MTA’s BMK program is an intensive learning program for seniors that prepares them for life-long independent learning.
