The Yeshiva University High School for Boys (MTA) Robotics Team—known as the Lionotics—continued their winning trend this past Sunday, February 19, as they broke another school record, coming in second place out of 22 other robotics teams at the Dalton Qualifier Tournament. The team worked for months designing the robot that exceeded expectations and propelled the school to new heights. In addition, MTA, along with a number of other Jewish high schools including the Yeshiva of Flatbush and Magen David, plan to form a Yeshiva Robotics League. Team members filmed some amazing footage of the competition, which will be broadcast over the MTA television screens, and brought home a nice new addition to MTA’s trophy case display. The Lionotics look forward to even more success in the future!
