It’s not often you hear of a boy donating his hair, but MTA student Akiva Kra grew out his hair for almost a year to donate it to a nonprofit organization called Children with Hair Loss. Kra, who grew it out six and a half inches, an acceptable amount according to the organization, said, “The main reason I grew out my hair was to donate it to be used for wigs for kids who, for medical conditions, have lost their own.”
