On Thursday, October 25, MTA joined yeshiva high schools across America in wearing purple as part of Shalom Task Force’s Go Purple Day. Shalom Task Force is an agency that focuses on helping individuals and families struggling with troubled relationships at home. Their goal is to sensitize the Jewish community at large and provide preventative education to young adults and community members. MTA partnered with Shalom Task Force to reduce stigma and raise awareness that abuse does happen in our communities and there is help available to those in need. Talmidim and rebbeim were proud to wear purple in support of this important initiative.
