Linking Northern and Central NJ, Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester and CT

Following a disappointing shutout loss to Frisch, the Lions brought energy and offense into their doubleheader with SAR. In the first game, MTA scored nine runs in the first five innings and never looked back. The Lions walked away with a decisive win that demonstrated just how much talent they possess.

In the second game, the Lions continued their hot hitting, and exploded for 10 runs in the first inning. The game was an offensive barrage, but was called after three innings because of darkness. The final score was 19-14. Despite the offensive success, there was some concern about the poor defense.

The Lions dropped the next two games on the road to Magen David and Hillel. At 3-3, MTA must sweep TABC in its upcoming double header if it wants to even think about the playoffs.
