After not being in school since March, the Solomon Schechter Day School current seventh grade was able to finally finish their “Bring It Back to School” project from TEVA. With the use of grants from the Bergen County Utility Authority and Jane Gooddall’s Roots and Shoots, the school’s back fence now is beautified with planters filled with mum plants. This project started out with the whole school planting seeds in planters, last year. This week, the current sixth grade helped the seventh graders to plant the 62 mum plants, and there is now a beautiful colorful fence at school.
