Dynamic and upbeat sounds of live music are the welcome background music to the typical school day, eagerly supplied by the Heichal band as it practices for upcoming events. The Heichal band club practices once a week with dedicated band members rehearsing their usual routine plus new songs, many composed by band members—including their most recent single, “Anu Rotzim,” released last year. The Heichal band plays for Heichal and community mesibos, local dinners and have even started playing at sheva brachos and vorts. Ably led by professional (and published) musician and proud Heichal parent Binyomin Ginzberg, with Yaakov Rosenberg on drums, Mudgie Neiman and Gavriel Glass on guitar, Avrumi Genuth on the keyboard, and Shimon Goldman, Shmuel Feuer and Yehuda Besser as lead vocalists, the Heichal band has a well-rounded and collaborative team. “I look at the band as a growing opportunity to advance my skills, and a chance to bring ruach and simcha to everyone around me,” said Goldman. The band is very excited to receive requests for gigs and inspire others with the lively and melodious sounds that brighten everyone’s days and keep their souls humming.
